ELECTRIC ALHAMBRA was an electronic flamenco- and performance group exploring hybrids between traditional flamenco and an experimental and modern expression of the flamenco nerve. With firm roots in classic flamenco techniques the group explores an electronic borderland where loops and compositions counter flamenco singing and guitar and where the dancing body fuses traditional flamenco with butoh and physical performance to open the expression of the human condition, which is flamenco, to a wider audience.
Singer: Gustav Rey

Guitarist and composer: Henrik Liebgott
Dance, choreography and scenography: Nana Francisca Schottländer

"The dance- and music performance Lunar Progression by Electric Alhambra makes a strong impression. It is flamenco, but an airy, gentle and experimental kind.
This flamenco has a Nordic expression – as if it was lost in a snow-covered landscape. But the escapade ends beautifully like a winter fairytale, and the performance enters you in the same way that the cold can enter your very bones.
… one of the dance moments that will stay with you for a very, very long time."
